MK1 Cortina Fuel Tank Sender Unit (CF002)

Made by smiths instruments in the UK using the original tooling.
Smiths instruments were commissioned to manufacture these units for ford in the 1960s.
Made exclusively for Retroford.
Includes rubber seal.
Fits all Retroford MK1 Cortina fuel tanks – CF001P powder coated black and CF001R raw finish.
Does not fit late MK1 or MK2 Cortina’s (please check your retaining ring and fuel tank aperture against the detailed photo to the left before ordering).

Resistance values (In Ohms Ω) are as follows:
Empty = 237-273Ω
Full = 16-22Ω

You must check the resistance values of your gauge to ensure this sender unit is suitable, failure to do this could result in your gauge not reading accurately.
