MK1 Cortina Rack and Pinion Conversion Kit

MK1 Cortina rack and pinion conversion kit suitable for use when fitting a Zetec, Pre-Xflow, X-flow or Pinto engine in your car.
Available for Pre-Airflow and Airflow cars in both RHD and LHD – Select the correct steering column above.
2.9 and 2.4 ratio steering racks are available for RHD cars and only 2.4 ratio steering rack available for LHD cars – Select steering rack ratio above.
Red or Black Poly Steering Rack Bushes are Available – Select colour above.
To be used with a standard MK1 or MK2 Escort Anti Roll Bar (will not work with a Twin Cam Anti Roll Bar!). Also available is a brand new Retroford 24mm Rack and Pinion Anti Roll Bar –  Add 24mm ARB above if required.
20mm, 22mm or 24mm double width Anti Roll Bar Poly Bushes available in red or black colour – Please select above.
Can be used with standard MK1 Cortina front struts or brand-new Retroford height and damping adjustable 2.25″ Front struts – Add to kit above if required.
Can be used with standard Mk1 Cortina Top Mounts or brand-new Retroford aluminium rose joint type Top Mounts – Add / Select Top Mounts above.
180Lbs, 220Lbs or 240Lbs 2.25″ springs available – Add / Select Springs above.
Full Alloy Front Hub Kit available – Add to kit above if required.

Gives zero bump steer and correct Ackerman angle.
Designed for cars that have been lowered.
Retains the original strut top position.
Keeps the front struts in the factory position retaining a period look from the outside
