Mk1/Mk2 Escort RS2000 and Mk2 Mexico LHD – Alloy Oil Sump Pan Kit with Modified Gated Baffle Plate Ford SOHC Pinto (PIN002)

A reproduction of the Escort RS2000 Mk1/2 aluminium sump. This sump is required for all Escorts using an SOHC Pinto engine (provides suitable clearance around the crossmember and steering rack) and quality used sumps are now becoming rare and expensive.

The sump baffle has been redesigned so that it provides far more protection from oil surge than the original version ever will. This modified baffle is designed to keep oil surrounding the pick-up at all times under much more extreme conditions. It now features a one-way gate that allows oil movement towards the pickup pipe and not away.

Must be used with RS2000 pickup pipe (PIN003)

Dipstick and tube available (PIN004)

Kit includes sump pan, baffle, sump mounting bolts, drain plug and washer.
