A ‘quick rack’ reduces lock-to-lock movement thereby giving more sensitive and responsive steering at high speeds avoiding the necessity to ‘cross hands’ on all but the tightest bends.

Fits MK2 Escorts including standard and all RS models.
Note when fitted to MK1 Escorts use with RS2000 track rod ends.
Brand new very high `OEM` quality short stem steering rack, manufactured with all new components.
2.9 ratio gives 2.9 turns from lock to lock which is ideal for road use.
2.4 ratio gives 2.4 turns from lock to lock which is ideal for fast road, track day or race use.
LHD racks are only available with 2.4 ratio.
Standard Escort steering racks are 3.5 turns from lock to lock.
