Zetec Oil Breather Kit – Silver

The Zetec Engine Oil Breather Catch Can Kit has been designed to be used with the genuine Ford PCV (Crankcase Ventilation) valve, providing your high-performance engine with the necessary crankcase ventilation while effectively condensing and collecting crankcase blow-by oil and moisture.

On Zetec engines running Throttle Bodies or Carburettor induction systems, we do not re-route crankcase blow-by oil and moisture back into the inlet manifold. The Zetec Engine Oil Breather Catch Can Kit allows oil droplets in suspension to drain back into the sump when the engine is not in use and any excess pressure and moisture to vent into the atmosphere through a single filter on the catch can.

The breather tank must be fitted as high as possible in the engine bay (higher than the rocker cover breather outlet) to prevent the oil catch can from filling up regularly. The pipework must constantly climb and avoid any low points that could fill up with oil, as this would prevent the oil droplets in suspension from returning to the sump.

Suitable for Zetec Black Top, Silver Top and ST170 engines, choose the correct option to suit your application above.
